April 25

This old barn sits on a hill, overlooking a gravel road. I don't think it's used anymore as I've not seen any activity around it for some time. I would have liked to have gotten closer to get some better shots but there are No Trespassing signs posted around it.

For more barns, visit Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

Great barn shot! In October on the way to Durango Colorado my kids were telling me to stop shooting barns! I love them! A Colorado Hug from me to you! Anne

That's a good sized barn against the spring sky!

It's huge! And it has a neat shape, too!

If barns could receive hugs, I'd love to give a big one to this barn! It looks a big lonely. The blue sky makes a beautiful frame for it.
You have me noticing barns in this area like I've not done before. I want to start taking pics of them too. :)

It looks like this place is not been used for sometime. But if only walls could talk it would tell us many stories. Great capture!

I like this very much, the way you've captured the rust on the roofs.

I, too, obey the No Trespassing signs. I do not want someone coming around a corner with a rifle in the hand. I learned a long time ago NOT to mess with peoples’ property lines. This barn looks to need a paint job on the roof. Ours does, too. We actually have a small leak that is going to HAVE to be repaired this summer. Water does not help the hay loft at all. Nice post. Fine barn shots.

The shape of the roofs must be typical of your area. Neat!

That has been a wonderful barn in its younger days!

I'd sooo love to explore that one... it's HUGE & it's beautiful! =)

I have to apologize for taking so long to visit everyone's Barn Charm entries... the flood situation in this area has me out shooting the scenery! =0

We finally have SUNSHINE here in SeMo!!! YaY! =)
