April 24

We went to something called Plow Days on Saturday. A group of people with horses, gather and demonstrate what it used to be like to get a field ready for planting before tractors.
Some of the teams had plows with a seat, but this guy was using the old, walk behind variety.

That had to be such hard work to be a farmer like that!

Great shots, Mari! I would love to see this, I come from farm country don't recall ever seeing it done by horses, usually machines, would really enjoy seeing it done this way, neat photo op!!! and of course I love horses too!! :)

The horses are so large and it looks like hard work. I'm thankful for up-to-date machinery.

This could easily be my husband because he always wants to do his gardening the OLD way. He uses an old push tiller that looks somewhat like this. I just love this shot. A wonderful capture.
