April 24
We went to something called Plow Days on Saturday. A group of people with horses, gather and demonstrate what it used to be like to get a field ready for planting before tractors. Some of the teams had plows with a seat, but this guy was using the old, walk behind variety.

That had to be such hard work to be a farmer like that!
So cool! So Little-House-on-the- Prairie-like! Love it!
I remember when my granddad plowed with mules. Back-breaking work!
Nice picture, Mari.
Hope you had a Happy Easter.
Great shots, Mari! I would love to see this, I come from farm country don't recall ever seeing it done by horses, usually machines, would really enjoy seeing it done this way, neat photo op!!! and of course I love horses too!! :)
Makes one wonder how they ever did all the work that they did .... beautiful horses.
fantastic shot with the horses and the farmer.
Hope you had great Easter days
♥Nice post.) Love your blog.))♥
Wow...this is so cool! I love seeing things like this.
The horses are so large and it looks like hard work. I'm thankful for up-to-date machinery.
Beautiful horses and a cool display of how it used to be.
What hard work . . .
This could easily be my husband because he always wants to do his gardening the OLD way. He uses an old push tiller that looks somewhat like this. I just love this shot. A wonderful capture.
