September 2

While out on a drive recently, we found a new housing development that's perfect for us barn lovers! It's built on the site of an old farm and they kept the farm feel about it.

This is the entrance to the community.  I knew when I saw this that it would be good.

Part of this was the old barn on the property.  They renovated it and it's now home to a pool and a community room.

Outside that barn is this old piece of farm equipment.  Don't you think it makes a great bike rack?

And here's an old silo, cleaned and renovated as an accent.   If I was going to live in a development, this would be a good one!

For more barns, stop over and see Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

Very unique and lovely. I bet properties will be good sellers there.

Some great planners worked on developing that community. I love it all, never thought of that use for a bike rack. What town/province is that in?

I love it! The entrance is wonderful and you could ask for a better bike rack! They put a lot of thought into this development. Wish more of them would be so creative.

Someone is very creative to think of doing all these things... & loves the country, too! So beautiful! LOVE the 'bike rack', genius! The silo kinda looks like a lighthouse, now. And the entrance, WoW!
Awesome find, Mari

Thank you so much for joining... participants are dwindling down & I haven't been able to put much time in my blog this summer, but I'll keep it going for a while. =)

Thanks for posting the link to the barn doors on your sidebar... I'm swinging by to check it out, now. =)

Smiling. I could be very happy living here. Love how they kept the flavor of the far community and the "red barn" entrance is perfect. I've never seen one like that before.
