March 25

We stopped at Bob's brothers house to check out his latest project. He and his 2 sons have been going to flea markets and antique stores looking for old license plates. They collected plates from the 48 mainland states and made this map. Each state on the map is cut in the correct shape from it's license plate and put in place. California and Texas took 2 plates each. The finished project is about 5 feet wide and looks really neat hanging on their garage wall.
Nice job, Rog, Chris and Max!

This is so very cool!! Did he cut each one out by hand? They should make more to sell. I would love to have something like it. The Mississippi tag must be a really old one cause I don't remember any that looked like that.

Thanks for all your comments btw!! :)

Well, that sure is a heck of a lot nicer than the usual "garage art" that one sees! Pretty darn cool! ;)

Cool! I like this idea better than the great big map on the wall with straight pins in it. I like this a lot. Kae
