September 22

Another sign that Fall is on the way! It is 79 degrees here today and most of the leaves are green, but my walkway tells another story. We have lots of oak trees, and most of the leaves stay until late Fall and even winter, but there are a few coming down. The acorns are another story. They have been falling like crazy. We hear them bouncing off the roof on a regular basis.

We had quite a few oak trees around our home in Arizona. It was fun to watch the squirels in the trees gathering their acorns and then throwing the rest down and we'd hear them bouncing off of our cars!

It was warm and humid here...more like August than the first day of autumn. Great pic!

Love the simplicity of this yet it does say so much about the coming season.

Great photo, Mari.

I do not envy you, for the leaves that will need raking.... :)

Still does feel like summer but our leaves tell us another story too.
