September 26

I live on the outskirts of Grand Rapids Michigan where there is an international art competition happening. There are 1,262 artists from 15 countries competing in 159 areas throughout the city. A friend and I spent the day walking around and looking at many of them.
This one has received a lot of attention. We have our own Loch Ness Monster in our Grand River!

*we couldn't tell what it was made of, but it didn't look like wood when we were closer to it.

You have your own Trojan Nessie. Hope it doesn't open up with little people coming out. :)

Wow! What a find! Nice photo of an unusual "nessie" lol Like he rest of the photo too. Nice park.

Remember the poem I posted on one of your posts? Well, you can hear the music to it now, sung by Waylon Jennings, himself. Thanks to Sunny, I now have a playlist on my blog. As I told her, the problem was, I was like a kid back in 1940 turned loose in a candy store with 5 cents - back when 5 cents could buy a lot of candy.

So, you will need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list to find "The Union Mare and Confederate Gray." Enjoy.
