February 8

Here's another view of Lake Michigan, from the Grand Haven beach. When I posted the Grand Haven lighthouse, I made the mistake of saying we hadn't had much snow lately. Sara told me that now we would get snow and she was right! We are supposed to get between 10 and 14 inches of snow between tomorrow and Wednesday. Soon, I may have some snow pictures to post!

WE are in the same boat. It has been snowing all day. Thought maybe we would be done for the year. Wishful thinging I guess.

That seems so strange to see snow on the "beach". Another beautifully composed shot. :)

I've had enough snow...but it love the lake shots! My hometown, in South Jersey, got 24" last week and it getting another 20" today...they rarely get more than a few inches each year. One good thing, for them, the salt air will melt it quickly!

WOW!! This is incredible...it looks like sea foam AND snow...I love the look of the fence on the beach, its so east coast. But I could never figure out why someone would put up such a flimsy fence. No way would it hold back the ocean! Gorgeous pics Mari...
