It really rained here today. We were under Severe Thunderstorm and Flood Warnings for much of the day. Some roads were impassable due to the water on them.
This is usually just a small creek, about 1/4 to /3 of the size it was when I drove by today.

Wow, Mari that's a lot of rain! I sure hope it doesn't get worse and flood more. I'm excited because today is the first day in awhile that it HASN'T rained for us....of course it won't last for long. *sigh* Although my husband said it's supposed to be dry this weekend....woo hoo I can finally get outside and take some pictures. :)

we had a beautiful day here...i secretly wouldnt mind rain, but i won't tell anyone that around here. they all seem to want it sunny and hot everyday. i don't, but i have to keep it to myself in west texas. lol. this is a great shot to show us your weather situation!

One thing for sure, it should help your water table for the spring and summer. With that much rain, it should really bring on the flowers and trees.
