December 9

This is a barn I've shared a few times before.  I was surprised to see how bad the roof looks.  The last time I shared it, there was only a slight curve to the roof.  Here it is then, and here's a picture of it in 2011.  Sad to see a nice looking barn go!

The next time you take a picture of this old barn, don't stand too close to it! You never know when it will go.

It is sad to see that great old barn deteriorate.
We've done a lot of old house renovations, and one of the first things we learned, is to protect a structure with a good roof.
Guess there's a lot of truth to that theory.

Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hoping someone will want to save it, and the next time to snap a picture of this barn, it will be renovated.

Warm wishes..

I remember this barn! You graciously gave me permission to share it with a friend who loves old barns too. In that photo there was a lot of moss on the roof.

Wow! It really has deteriorated! Such a lovely barn---it could be a cool art studio with an apartment above it.
I miss barn charm!
