I had a good day today. It was only 12 degrees this morning, but the sun's been shining! It's my weekend off and I got a lot done. I did some shopping, cooking and cleaning to get the house ready for our Bible study group to come over tomorrow night. After supper we were looking out into our backyard and noticed how dark blue the sky looked and then we saw that the Northern star and the moon were both visible. What a pretty night!

You are right, the sky was a beautiful blue. I tried to think of water color the sky was. I noticed the moon and star,I was wishing I had that camera that I wanted for my b'day.(hehehe)

Great capture! I am always amazed when I see the moon during the daylight hours, and here you've captured the North Star as well.
Question, why is the Northern Star in the Western sky? (It's not a star , it's a planet).
