July 20

Something sad happened here at the end of the week. The county came through and cut down everything growing in the ditches and the sides of the road. I know they had to - it's a safety issue, but I've been enjoying the weeks and wildflowers that were growing there.
I still found some though. These pretty weeds were growing on the edge of a field. I just love the color!

I think 80% of weeds are just beautiful.

You have some beautiful weeds in your area. Sure wish ours looked that pretty, I'd let them grow and have less work for me! :-)

This is beautiful! Great shot. Sorry to hear the county cut down the ditches! That sucks. :(

Ohhh! I love those wild "weeds"... they aren't weeds. They are beautiful flowers. *sigh* so sad someone cut they down. I'm glad you took the picture. Amazing colors!

I still remember when Queen Anne's Lace was a weed!
Times have change, now they are oh so trendy-- and expensive :-)

I love these and have never seen them before. They almost look like they are made out of fabric. Very cool photograph.

Thought at first that these were corn flowers, but perhaps not. I like this DOF - those 2 ton bales of hay look like toys in the background. :D

Nice composition here. Lovely colors and contrasts.
