November 20



This is a plant we have growing in the woods around us.  It's name is Lunaria, but it's often called money plant because of the coin shaped seed heads.  In the spring it has purple flowers and looks quite pretty growing in the trees, but I love to see it at this stage too.

Yes I too enjoy the Lunaria plant...it makes for great ornamental piece in floral arrangements....my girls use to love playing with them as their skins peeled very nicely....thanks for the memory....

Just to think.....you have this growing in your woods while we have to buy this plant for our gardens.. I love this plant in arrangements in the fall.
