April 25

It's been kind of a dreary, rainy day today, but don't you think it gives another type of beauty?

Definitely has its own kind of beauty! There's just something about a lone-but-strong tree . . . in any type of weather.

This picture reminds me of my favorite scene in Pride and Prejudice when Mark Darcy is walking across the field to declare his love for Elizabeth... Oh my heart... love love that morning... and great picture..

Love,
Kelly

It reminds me of peace and solitude, fog and coolness.

This is a beautiful picture - seems like the kind of day for a craft project...

The beauty of that tree drinking up all that moisture from the rain....I Love IT!

Thanks for the wishes for our trip to Georgia...we are so excited! Now I just need to finish up the packing and we're on our way. Yippee! I can't wait to see my son!!!

As for my other post from today...hahaha....I saved it to draft for right now because I forgot that I had scheduled it to post while my computer was still running, thinking I would have plenty of time to finish it later...well then my computer died and I forgot all about it until today. I will try and finish it before I leave because today is exactly 20 years since my daughter's liver transplant, so it is a very special day to us! Thanks for your comment on her pictures. Have a great week and I'll check out your blog as soon as we return. ~ Debra

Yes, it does. My day was a lot like yours without the rain.

It was rainy here too today, but I took my umbrella and went for walk anyway. An interesting thing about this picture, there are lots of other trees in the picture. The fog covers them. It makes me think that even though we are alone, we aren't. There is a song that says, "Standing somewhere in the shadows you'll find Jesus. He's a friend who always cares and understands." I don't know why, but those are my thoughts as I looked at this picture.

Same gloomy weather, here, too. What happened to spring?!

You're right....a lone tree on a hill is spectacular no matter what kind of weather it's weathering! You've added some wonderful shots over the past few days.

It has the ghost-like, haunting beauty to it!

Oh yes, that's beautiful! It makes me wonder what's creeping up the hill behind the tree. Spring perhaps??Cheers,
