February 21

It's snowing. And blowing. All day.
I had to work today and we didn't have many visitors because of the slippery roads. It's been snowing most of the day and the visibility is down because of the wind.
This is the view from my front window. The weathermen are getting excited because they think we are going to set a record for the amount of snowfall in a year. I don't really care about setting those kinds of records. Sunshine and warmer temperatures sound wonderful! I'll really appreciate it when they come!

I hope you don't have too far to drive to work. It's pretty if you can stay in..

Get some of that Pasta Fagioli out of the freezer, Mari, and warm up! It sounds too cold and wintery there!

What is the amount of snowfall you've received to date this winter?

Susan - as of Friday night we had received 110.3 inches. Today we have gotten at least 3 inches so we'll see what happens. I believe the record is a little over 115 inches.

Grand Rapids was mentioned on World News Tonight about the amount of snow we've received this year. Personaly I would rather see that Grand Rapids had a record amount of sunshine and 75 degrees....but nobody asked me my opinion...???
